Admission Policy
United Methodist Preschool welcomes all families. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, special needs, and ability to pay or for any other reason. UMNS has scholarships available for families. A family in need of scholarship money should contact the director of the school. All applications for scholarships will be kept strictly confidential.
Registration
Registration takes place in January for the following September. Currently enrolled children, their siblings and church members have priority for spaces in the school. New families are encouraged to attend one of our open houses. A $75 registration fee is due with the application. (The registration fee will be returned if we are unable to offer you a spot in the school, otherwise it is non-refundable.) Application forms may be obtained at the open house, by calling the school or by downloading the file.
Open House
The open house lasts approximately 40 minutes and will include an overview of the school’s programs and curriculum, a question and answer session and tour of the facility. The open house is for parents only. Children will be invited to the school at a later date. Call us to schedule a tour before our next open house! (203) 966-3176
